You will need these programs first

Pgcedit
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/PgcEdit

Muxman
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Muxman

Voblanker
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/VobBlanker

Pgcdemux
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/PgcDemux

Subtitle Creator
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=120228
(subtitle creator uses Microsoft Netframework )
you can get it here

You will actually only be using 2 of these programs using this Tutorial
as Subtitle Creator uses the other 3 in the background.

Thanks to the creators of Subtitle Creator they made a program that does all the
the stuff that was in my previous subtitle guide without you actually ever having to do it.

So let's say you have a Custom SRT or you already have a Custom SUP file that you want to mux into a DVD
first off you should make a folder in the same folder wherever you installed subtitle creator.
*because subtitle creator needs to know where (muxman, pgcdemux and voblanker are)*

*If you have SRT subtitles and you know they are synched correctly*
{{Open Subtitle Creator , go to FILE , OPEN TEXT SUBTITLE and SAVE SUP FILE.}}
(((((You can change the font and position (height) and also check for errors at this point and get a good
idea of how the final subs will look on the dvd.))))
I suggest using Microsoft Sans Seriff or Segoe [font]

If you already have a SUP file you can skip all that.

so know you have your DVD SUP file , now it's time to mux that onto your movie .

{{Go to TOOLS , DVD AUTHORING WIZARD}}
Now Subtitle Creator will ask where those 3 programs are (Muxman, pgcdemux, voblanker),
it will only ask for that once. unless you happen to move those for some wierd reason.

Now {{Click BROWSE select your DVD IFO}}
http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/4052/step2uw9.jpg

In this instance the full length movie is VTS_013_0.IFO
So select that . (An easy way to figure out where the Full Length movie is on a DVD is look in the VIDEO_TS folder, and the one with the largest files is usually the movie
*************************************************
(example)
VTS_012_0.IFO (2kb)
VTS_012_0.vob (2mb)
VTS_013_0.IFO (2kb)
VTS_013_0.vob (1gb)
VTS_013_1.vob (1gb)
VTS_013_2.vob (1gb)
VTS_013_3.vob (1gb)
VTS_013_4.vob (1gb)
VTS_013_5.vob (120mb)
VTS_014_0.IFO (2kb)
VTS_014_0.vob (2mb)
etc..etc..
*************************************************
Now {{click BROWSE below that one}} and the program will ask for where to create a TEMP directory (which you will have to delete manually later) and your NEW DVD folder. So after that.
select your language for whatever language your subtitle is in and click BROWSE and select
the custom subtitle that you made. (if you want to replace a subtitle , lets use Once upon a time in china 5 as an example.
Track 1 is French , Track 2 is chinese , Track 3 is Chinese and Track 4 will be your new English track *Subtitle Creator will display the language of each track that is on the disc, So select Track 4 and browse for your Custom English subtitle.)
((You can also replace badly translated subtitles like this, by replacing whichever language track))
************************************************** *****
[example]
You fixed a badly translated English subtitle script and you want to replace it on your DVD.
just select the track on the DVD
1.chinese
2.japanese
3.english
Select 3 and it will overwrite it with your new subs.
************************************************** *****

Click START and wait about 20min .
(I suggest you just leave your PC alone while it's working)

Ta-dah! almost done .

Open up PGCedit and (Press CTRL + O) and select the folder of your NEW DVD.
if it says it wants to fix anything just click NO.
wait for it to find BOV (which only takes about 20sec) and click CLOSE *on the Find BOV window not the actual program*.

Now remember I said the movie was VTS_013_0.IFO
http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/1596/step22xf4.jpg
well as you can see , you can see the runtime for the movie on the left
*highlight that, rightclick and select EDIT PGC*

Now you see where it says SUBPICTURE VOBS at the TOP?
http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/2464/step44ag0.jpg
and there is one that says
0 0 0 0
1 0 0 0
2 0 0 0
3 0 0 0

Ok what that is , is the way the subtitles are displayed along with their track number

Subtitle Track 1 = 0
Subtitle Track 2 = 1
Subtitle Track 3 = 2
Subtitle Track 4 = 3
Subtitle Track 5 = 4

For some reason subtitle creator sometimes selects 4:3 subtitles and it will not only just
display your subtitles in 4:3 it will only show one of your subtitle tracks * the first one , the 0 0 0 0 one*.
this is easy to fix Ok.
Dont mess with the 0 0 0 0 one. *because the settings are fine*
click the one below it (Subtitle Track 2) . [/b]
http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/3192/step4sp3.jpg

You should change it to.
(Subtitle Track 2)
4:3 (0)
Wide (1)
letterbox (1)
leave pan and scan alone .

Now if you have multiple subtitles do the same for all of them .
(Subtitle Track 3) . would be
4:3 (0)
Wide (2)
letterbox (2)

(Subtitle Track 4) would be
4:3 (0)
Wide (3)
letterbox (3)
Etc..etc..

And (CLICK SET) then (CLICK OK) now (CTRL + S) or (File, Save DVD)
and your done.

Open with whatever media player you use to watch your DVDs.
if the Subtitle Colors are fine . Your'e Done!

If the subtitles happen to be different colors than they originally were (sometimes that happens)
use DVD subedit to fix the colors.
you can use my older tutorial here for that
http://asiandvdclub.org/punbb/viewtopic.php?id=461

Good luck .

Edit:

The Widescreen Anamporphic subs will look fine on a 4:3 TV and Vice Versa
I've Checked it.**Using Font Seguoe * anything else looks too stretched.
