The highest quality backup method available
Re-encode DVD9 ----> DVD5 without loosing the quality (Well not 100% but it's way better than Shrink <---- I just cant stand this format and it's hurting my eyes :-)
Requirements:
Quicktime: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
ColorMatrix 2.2: http://avisynth.org/warpenterprises/files/colormatrix_20070828.zip
Canopus Procoder 3x:
Dvd rebuilder pro version 1.26.5 or above:

Step 1: Install Quicktime 6 or higher
1. Please follow link above to download quicktime
Step 2: Install Procoder 3.00.50.00
1. Run the setup.exe. Just keep everything as default and click on Yes when it prompts to install Media Format 9.5. Click No to reboot pc.
Step 3: Dvd Rebuilder 1.28.2
1. Run the DVD-RB_v1.282Pro.exe, Click Ok for Avisynth install and accept all its default. At the Default Settings screen, create 2 folders: One for the work folder and the other for the Output folder (this is where the final dvd5 located at). Something looks like this:

2. At The commercial Encoder's Screen:
Choose Canopus Procoder (EclPRO - Robot1)

Scroll down and choose Procoder 2.0

3. Run Dvd-rebuilder and make the following configurations:
Under Mode menu make sure the followings are checked: Once Click Mode, Output to ISO Image File (this is optional if you would like to have an iso output) and Procoder (EclPro) mode also checked

Under Settings make sure select "Mastering Quality (Slowest)

Step 4: ColorMatrix Plugin (this step is important to ensure that your final DVD5 has same color as the original 9)
Extract the "ColorMatrix.dll to you C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins

For the purpose of this guide. I'm going to back up my purchased Paris By Night 94 (DVD9) to DVD5
1. Source Path
Browse to PBN94 DVD9 Video TS folder

2. See the Destination Path for the location of your final Dvd5

Now Let click on Backup. You will need to setup a few steps for procoder screens as below:
