How to DVD-Rebuilder/Procoder 3/Color Matrix 2

Re-encode DVD9 ----> DVD5 without loosing the quality (Well not 100% but it's way better than Shrink <---- I just cant stand this format and it's hurting my eyes :-)

Requirements:

Dvd rebuilder pro version 1.26.5 or above:

Step 1: Install Quicktime 6 or higher
1. Please follow link above to download quicktime

Step 2: Install Procoder 3.00.50.00
1. Run the setup.exe. Just keep everything as default and click on Yes when it prompts to install Media Format 9.5. Click No to reboot pc.

Step 3: Dvd Rebuilder 1.28.2
1. Run the DVD-RB_v1.282Pro.exe, Click Ok for Avisynth install and accept all its default. At the Default Settings screen, create 2 folders: One for the work folder and the other for the Output folder (this is where the final dvd5 located at). Something looks like this:

2. At The commercial Encoder's Screen:
Choose Canopus Procoder (EclPRO - Robot1)

Scroll down and choose Procoder 2.0

3. Run Dvd-rebuilder and make the following configurations:
Under Mode menu make sure the followings are checked: Once Click Mode, Output to ISO Image File (this is optional if you would like to have an iso output) and Procoder (EclPro) mode also checked

Under Settings make sure select "Mastering Quality (Slowest)

Step 4: ColorMatrix Plugin (this step is important to ensure that your final DVD5 has same color as the original 9)
Extract the "ColorMatrix.dll to you C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins

For the purpose of this guide. I'm going to back up my purchased Paris By Night 94 (DVD9) to DVD5
1. Source Path
Browse to PBN94 DVD9 Video TS folder

Now Let click on Backup. You will need to setup a few steps for procoder screens as below:

Thank You for doing this. I am also seeking a guide how to do encode high quality from DVD9 to DVD5. I have read somewhere after putting the colormatrix.dll into the plugins folder they have a script for it. Something like this:
C:P:ColorMatrix(mode="Rec.601->Rec.709",clamp=false,threads=0)
C:I:ColorMatrix(mode="Rec.601->Rec.709",clamp=false,threads=0,interlaced=true)

and a hidden setting:

REDIST_LOW_THRESHOLD=.5
REDIST_USE_FINAL_Q=1

Do you know what are these settings for? Thank You

Khi bỏ 2 cái lines này:

vào cái editor thì after phần prepare nó bi abort because colormatrix không có recognize cái "clamp".
Lý do conheo hỏi ở post phía trên là vì nếu bỏ cái file colormatrix.dll vào folder plugins trong đó có cả đống plugins nó biết cái nào mà run ;D. Conheo thử encode DVD9 Legendary Assasin xuống DVD5 thì thấy rất rõ chẳng khác gì DVD9, nhưng cứ tức là chưa hiêu về 2 cái lines đó ;D Mình encode thì mất khoảng 1 tiếng với Master Quality.

mình ráng chờ I7 board & memory xuống giá nhưng không thể chờ nổi đành kết liễu với Q9550

Tôi xài AMD phenomII 965 quad core, windows 7 - 32 bit, 4 Gig ram (còn 3.5 gig vì windows 32 bit), run DVD RB / Procoder 3. Sau khi hit backup DVD RB prepair to run xong thì nó pop up 4 cái litle windows để mình open ProCoder 3. Tôi hit mấy windows để open 1 hoặc 2 ProCoder thì ok. Hit window để mở ProCoder thứ 3 và thứ 4 thì conputer bị freezing, phải reset computer lại.

Bạn nào có kinh nghiệm xài quad core AMD để run DVD RB với ProCoder xin chỉ dẫn cách set up, hoặc Intel quad core mà pop up 4 litle windows để open ProCoder thì mình phải là sao? Có cần phải mở hết 4 cái PorCoder không? thanks

AMD quad core phenom II 965 / Wins 7 run DVDRB/Procoder3 thì EclPro sẽ pop up 4 cái windows để mở Procoder. Nếu mở liền 3 hay 4 Procoder thì computer bị freezing. Tôi mở 2 cái Procoder thì run ok. Sau khi 2 cái procoder này run xong phần của mình thì DVDRB sẽ chờ để mở hai cái Procoder còn lại. 4 cái Procoder run xong thì DVDRB tiếp tục hoàn tất DVD5 (very good DVD)
Làm theo kiểu trên thì bất tiện và chậm vì mình phải canh chừng và không run 4 core cùng lúc được!...

Đọc trong AsianDVDClud thấy nó hướng dẫn xài software version cũ thôi. ADC là dùng DVD RB được setup riêng cho từng encoding software như Procode và các sw khác. DVD RB 1.28.2 và Procoder 3 work fine với windows 7. Lúc trước tôi xài Pentium 4 hyperthreating thì DVD RB 1.28.2 mở 2 windows Procoder 3 chạy ngon lành, nhưng Pentium 4 single core chậm quá nên tôi đổi qua AMD quad core thì có problem nếu chạy 4 window Procoder 3 cùng lúc. Tôi biết là mình phải set up trong file rebuilder.ini để run hết core của CPU, nhưng chưa tìm ra.

Sẽ report lên đây nếu tìm ra chân lý cho AMD quad core on DVD RB / Procoder
